Theresa, it's good to have you as a member of Church Librarians Network. You have added so much with your pictures, etc. Now that there will be no more library conferences at Shocco, I would like to invite you to attend the library conference at Central Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 7th. It's an all day free conference with lots of freebies. You can find complete information, schedule, course descriptions and registration by going to our library catalog: cbcd.booksys.net. Then click on display and then links. We would love to have you and any other team members.
Thank you for your concern, Theresa. Some are still without power in Alabama and in surrounding areas. My daughter from TN came on Thursday morning and took me home with her. After I heard that our church had power and we were having church on Sunday, I came back home on Saturday evening. Several teams from our church are going out to help other areas which were devastated. The town, Smithville, MS, was my late husband's hometown and it was completely destroyed. I have a niece there. Their house was one of a few which was left standing. Her husband is an only child and his parents lived close to them. Their house was completely destroyed and his father was killed. His mother is in very serious condition with many broken bones, etc. So many people need our prayers!

There are may articles there on promotion. Go to archived articles and look under the promotion section. You can download the 60+ page book on promotion that communicates. It is now out of print and is an excellent source of all types of promotion-- written by Charles Businaro.
