    I forgot to mention that they always have a book swap at this event. Lots of choices!

    Yes, the conference is November 2. It is an annual event that always takes place the first Saturday in November.

    You are correct Lifeway back in the day was able to have displays during our library events. Those displays were handled by the nearby Lifeway stores. Since the stores have gone away, we can no longer have displays set up by Lifeway. They do have a team these days who only handle events that have large crowds. In recent years conference hosts have invited local Christian stores to do these displays and sell books during the events. But even the local bookstores have struggled to have enough employees to provide displays on locations. Recent practice has been to include the locations of nearby bookstores in the promotion information for participants to make plans to arrive early or stay later to go to these bookstores. This approach is actually better than having the display onsite at the conference because participants have a better shopping experience. Since you are specific about your request regarding children's books, you have given me an idea. There might be a way! THANKS!

      That sounds wonderful!
      I attended a Lifeway Women’s Conference this past weekend where there were numerous tables of books available and by the end of the conference most tables’ contents were emptied from being purchased. Just a thought!

          I would say at least 2K. It was Kristy McClellend’s Feast conference at Gardendale 1st Baptist. It was large so your first comments about large gatherings is proof. I completely understand Lifeway’s policy but it is always hoped for a bit of change.☺️

    Just to make sure the conference is November 2 and not the 5th as has been typed several times.
    Also, could Lifeway be contacted about setting up a display of books that could be purchased for the conference? Years ago, books were made available for purchase and it was a treat, especially children’s books, but an assortment of books would be great, along with the ones to give away or swap as happened in the March Conference.
