Join us (Evangelical Church Library Association) for our Fall fellowship and business meeting at 10 a.m. Doors open about 9:40 and refreshments will be available.
Update on the eBook consortium will be announced. We will also have a Book Swap and a tour of the Fullerton EV Free library. Elections for officers will be held. After the meeting we will meet for lunch (optional) at the Corner Bakery nearby.

Roseland Park 'Baptist Church in Picayune Ms. is hosting a
"Bridging the Gap" fellowship for the youth girls and ladies of the church. Purpose of the fellowship is for the youth to get to know the ladies of the church. We have asked the staff's wives to be a part of the program and the library staff will serve. Table decorations will be stacks of three books by one author. There will be a card with information about each author.
We will tour the beatiful and architecturally inspiring Biola University Library. We will see the "Behind the Scenes" work areas, during a tour by one of Biola's librarians.
Limit of tour group size: 25 people
The Pacific Northwest Association of Church Libraries is holding its annual conference in Parkland Washington (near Tacoma). Keynote speaker will be Christian author Bette Nordberg. Workshops are scheduled include Reading for Seniors, E-Books, library basics, and children's books. A registration form can be downloaded at www.pnacl.org/conference.htm
The North Carolina library events this year are moving around the state. This event will feature Eva Nell Hunter and others. Cost is $30 (includes lunch)
