A"Return to the Oregon Trail" for the 47th CSLA Conference from July 30-August 1, 2014.  Conference will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lake Oswego, OR (near Portland).  Conference from Monday-Wednesday will offer workshops, interaction with 100 librarians from around the country, church libraries tours, and featured speaker, Suzanne Woods Fischer.

SPIRIT OF OKLAHOMA STORYTELLING FESTIVAL hosted by The Territory Tellers

The 7^th Annual Spirit of Oklahoma Storytelling Festival will convene in Bethany, Oklahoma on the campus of Southern Nazarene University, June 13-14, 2014.  The location is on the “Mother Road”, historic Route 66

After many months of planning we finally have moved to a point where we will dedicate our library.  Agreement was achieved for its name which is: the Cowden-Smith Library.  The dual name honors the first librarian, Annabelle Cowden and the most recent librarian, Natalie Smith.  I posted the sad news of Natalie's unsuspected death that has had us scurrying around in an attempt to restore organization and functionality to the library.  The dedication will be attended by Jim Smith, Elder and husban
