  • Carol thanks for your positive comment. We've had lots of fun with this. We now have 32 children enrolled. It is some work, but so worth it. We take the books over between Sunday School and Church. We have about 15 min. We unload the wagon on a long table. We've issued the children book bags with their name tags. They've gotten into a routine already, and empty the due books into a basket, and select new ones. It takes 2 adults to handle it. We have a book to record books checked out and books returned. We are computerized, so we return to the library and enter the new books and check in the old ones. We are hoping to start a summer program using our Western VBS theme and have the children/parents keep a list of books read, and issue certificates or rewards at the end of the summer. We're praying that the interest will continue. Thank you for your encouragement. I love this website, and have gotten so many good ideas from it.
