  Central Alabama would like to invite you to attend the Central Alabama Library Conference on Saturday March 4th. at Shoal Creek Baptist church in Deatsville, Al. Why not make plans to take a Road Trip to Wetumpka, Al where Ben and Erin filmed Home Town Take over and attend the conference that is about 12 miles away from Wetumpka, The Hampton in located in Wetumpka is offering a reduced rate if you are attending this event.

  As we navigate the realities of being a Church Library Ministry in 2020, our library team at Forest Hills Baptist Church (FHBC) in Wilson, NC used the time to reevaluate usage of the library. We will be renovating it to include more of a discipleship focus. We will integrate the coffee room, library, missionary focal map and other small centers into the larger space. To make room for all the additions, we had a major inventory weeding. Over 1200 books were removed from our over 6500 collection. Most of these are Christian non-fiction(200's) with some other non-fiction and Christian fiction. If any library would like the books, please let me know. We would rather share these with those who share our joy of reading as well as our chosen service to Church Library Ministry. Thank you and have a wonderfully blessed day!

  Hi Christina, My 3,000 volume library is currently in the process of transitioning to Evergreen open source software. It takes an adept IT person to set it up, but now that it is set-up, I am loving the features and functionality. It is highly customizable and has a strong support community that welcomes all.
