Greetings!

Happy Thanksgiving!! Even though this year will be different due to the pandemic, may God bless all your holiday plans.

REALM (Reopening Archives, Libraries, and Museums) Project Report

Some of us are on the email list to receive test results from this group. Last Wednesday, we got the results for Test 6: Glass, Marble, Laminate, Brass, and Powder-covered steel. Click here to find charts of all six tests on the REALM website. Click here to reflect on the results.

Selection: Appropriateness

The conversation continued all last week about Ann Lancaster’s question about appropriateness. Not too late to participate! Click here to read Ann’s question and interesting responses from several of us. Click on reply to share your thoughts.

Collection Development: What about Single Adults?

This conversation also continued all week. Interesting how we classify books for single adults in so many ways. Feel free to join  the conversation here.

Collection Development: Biographies for teens and young adults

For lots of reasons we struggle with these two target audiences. Looks like 72 people viewed this post last week but no one had any recommendations. Let’s keep this on the table to remind us to pray about how we can find the right items for teens and young adults. When I start meeting with the new Youth Engagement Coordinators and later with the Young Adult Engagement Coordinators, I will let you know what they recommend. Click on reply to share your recommendations here.

Enjoy your Thanksgiving! I am truly thankful for all of you and all that you do through your ministries.
