Greetings!

Are you recovering from the time change today like me?

Our Ministry with Children Through our Libraries

This past Thursday our children’s minister invited me to coffee. We had a great conversation about all sorts of things happening in our church. In the midst of the conversation she started popping all kinds of ideas for a children’s reading club. I was thrilled with her enthusiasm! That caused me to search the CLN so I thought we might have fun revisiting some posts from the past about children.

Have you visited our Children’s Library Group site lately? Enjoy the great ideas here. You are invited to join this group as well.

When we started the Children’s Library Group, I posted a discussion starter on The Circle. Check out these great responses here.

 Q&A: RightNow Media?

My church did launch our Right Now Media yesterday. The fun part for us was the place they videotaped the announcements for yesterday: our Enrichment Center. Right before our Associate Pastor of Education announced Right Now, he shared our Enrichment Center schedule and invited everyone to drop in. Unfortunately, my Admin access to Right Now is not working yet. Our Enrichment Center will have a channel where we can recommend media for families, individuals, and leaders as well as link our services. Does anyone have the library connected to the church’s RNM site? Click here! Looking for ideas!

Q&A: Where do you Buy Supplies?

We included this Q&A in last Monday’s email. Check out Cathy Smith’s comment posted this past week. Lots of great responses! Click here. Let’s continue that discussion by sharing where we purchase supplies these days.

Here’s hoping we can all get used to the time change this week!
