Hi Everyone!

Remembering 9/11

Today we remember those lost on September 11, 2001. Did you do anything special yesterday? A display? Added books to your collection? Click here.

Bibliotherapy

Occasionally, we are asked to assist students in their research regarding church library related topics. Caroline Sarah is a University of Jerusalem doctoral student. Her topic deals with ways church libraries assist mental health therapists who use what is called bibliotherapy who have their clients and patients read books and articles. Click here to get the details of her research and participate in a series of posts related to her research in the coming weeks.

Young Adult/Teens Collection

Be sure to see Debbie DeHart’s recommendations. Amy Burk added pictures of their new Teen Satellite Library. And Creston Mapes (yes, THE Creston Mapes) posted his Teen and Young Adult Religious Fiction Mysteries and Thrillers link. Click here

Check-In/Check-Out Equipment?

Sounds like Rhonda Rolen has a great suggestion for those of us who use Atriuum. Any other shopping advice? Click here.

Topics?

What is a topic you wish we would grapple with on the CLN? Post the topics here. I will start a separate discussion starter for each one according to the appropriate tab.

To add a post to any of our pages, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the tab you want to add a post.
