Small Displays Away from the Library

Collection Development: Magazines
Let’s continue this discussion. Some of our churches provide magazines for people to read at home. In some churches, their libraries distribute the magazines. Many of these magazines use a variety of authors who also write books. They also advertise books and DVDs. Let’s discuss ways to use the magazines to encourage people to read books and watch DVDs found in the libraries as well as sources for finding titles to add to the collection.

Promotion: Book Clubs/Reading Groups
In case you missed this one. Have you started Fall clubs and groups? You will find lots of ideas in these posts through the years. Some of us use other terms for book clubs such as reading groups. To add a post to any of our pages, follow these steps:
- Click on the tab you want to add a post.
- Click on the red box below the tabs to the right of the page to open a form to fill out for your post.
- When you complete the form, click on Save and Publish.
- If you see a need to edit your post, click on the red box with a pen to the right side of your screen.
