Happy Cyber Monday!

Praise God for the release of some hostages. Let’s continue to pray for the people of Israel and the innocent people of Gaza.

Encouraging Report

Recently, Lee Smith had the opportunity to talk with people about church libraries. Enjoy his report:

“We had a great three days at the state Baptist Annual Meeting for the Baptist General Association of VA last week for those three days. The quantity of people was not as many as in years past however the quality of those we talked to was much better. We heard stories like or similar to the one in Minnesota over and over at the meeting or we need help starting, we need help to get us organized, we don't really have the space, we have one but not really active or anyone to run it, and we used to but not anymore. We spoke with 21 churches that I have information sheets on.Out of those 21, we had four who want to start a brand new library, four who need help revitalizing, and four who would like a mentor to help them to see what they might need, etc. These are exciting numbers and to think some people don't think church libraries are relevant or needed. God is still working in VA for church library ministry .... Hallelujah!”
