  • Ours was cancelled after day 1- covid cases.  But we managed to get through 7/8 weeks for our Reading Club (a Noah's Ark theme:  Two by Two: read more than a few.  Children really enjoyed it.  We hope to finish 1 week late as we took a week off to let the cases in church simmer down (there weren't many).

  • Our church is not able to have VBS this year as we are still in the process of repairing damage from the winter weather experienced in February.  So we have encouraged the support of other churches and their VBS.  Took my two great-granddaughters

to two already (Fairfield Baptist in Cypress Tx and First Baptist Hempstead Tx.  Plan to take them to at least two more.9145033899?profile=RESIZE_930x

  • Our church is using the Armor of God theme with castle decorations in July.  The Library will be used by ages 3 to K (around 25 kids) for the opening ceremony, Bible stories and realted activities, and reflections plus the ending ceremony. We hope to engage the youth to provide drama as we tell the stories each day.

  • I live in an over 55 community of 130,000 folks:  The Villages, Florida.  However my church is outside the Villages and our Pastor has always lived in the area.  Our VBS was incredible.  Miracle Island.  We had an average of 55 kids a night plus at least 20 teens helping out and many adults.  It was a wonderful, joyful, fun time to be around all the kids after this past year!
