I came across an article in the ALSC blog on how one library has reorganized the shelving of Children's non-fiction book. Their idea is to select a small number of subjects and file books within those headings in Dewey order.

My thoughts: Seems like a good idea, but I feel that Church libraries probably don't have large collections of children's non-fiction. A change would not be worth the effort.
