We are trying something new in the library at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, Albuquerque, NM. We challenged the adults and youth to Read 10 in 2010. We did not know if the adults would respond, but they have. Thirty eight have signed up so far and several are new library users, which of course was the main purpose. We have a chart with their names and they are given a book sticker to put by their name when they have read a book. They are just as eager as the children to put their sticker on! One lady has already nine and probably will have finished her tenth by the end of the week. Now there is a new challenge, Read Ten, Start Again.
