I am trying to find good fiction books for a 9th grade boy. He really enjoyed the Andrew Klavan Homelander series so maybe I need more books similar to this.
Also, does anyone know of blogs I could read which give recommendations on children/teen books to acquire for the church library.

Here is a list of my favorite Christian teen/ya authors and the series they had published:
1) Frank Peretti - Cooper Kids Adventures
2) Gilbert Morris - Seven Sleepers Series
3) Bill Myers - Forbidden Doors
4) Wayne Batson - Door Within
5) Bryan Davis - Oracles of Fire
Thanks for the recommendation!
If the student is a good reader and likes mystery & suspense he would like "Treason," "Hostage," & "Defiance" by Don Brown, a JAG officer in the Navy who is a Christian Attorney in Charlotte. The stories are similar to the JAG TV programs.
Thanks Dee Ann. I recently had read about The Codebreaker series and thought that might be good but I'm not familiar with the Doppleganger Chronicles so I will check into that. I appreciate the suggestions.
A couple of the boys in my congregation enjoyed the Doppleganger Chronicles by G.P. Taylor (graphic novels) and The Codebreaker series (Hunter Brown) by the Miller Brothers.
