We all have stories to share in regard to our library ministries. What is a recent experience that you would like to share with us? Let's imagine we are sitting in a circle around a firepit during a Fall evening.

We just had a used book sale like the public libraries do. We don't have a designated library budget so along with donated books and recently weeded from the library, we made over $300. Which is not a lot but can buy more new materials especially for kids and families. (We had withdrawn several parenting boooks from the 70s lol)
I'll start. This morning we had our 2nd Preschool Storytime. We had 3 families participate. All 3 preschoolers were 2 years old. None of them could figure out what we were doing. On my way home it dawned on me that these preschoolers do not normally experience a group time at church. None of the children that came to the first storytime came to this one. Point of my story is we sometimes fail to totally understand our audience. The parents enjoyed getting to know each other so it was not a total failure.
