Inventory in Concourse

Hello!

We have never done an inventory in our library and are approaching 6800 in our ascension numbers. But, we do not have a scanner! Does anyone have a scanner we could borrow, or even purchase if you are not using it?

    I am trying to revitalize my church's library.  Currently, I'm working on an inventory of our current collection using Microsoft Excel.

    You do not need a scanner. Just go o catalog down to inventory. Get 1 other person to help you. Call out what the computer says and the other person will be standing at the shelf saying they found it. Then go to the next. Takes you no time. Mona

    Generic is working fine with us! Be sure to get a wireless scanner if you have wifi.

    Scanners are available on Amazon at very reasonable prices.

      Do I order a generic scanner, or is there a specific one I need to get? Thank you!
