Book Club Selections

I would love to receive reading selections for a book club @ Timberlake Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. Many couples as well as single adults attend our supper meetings.

Some titles we've enjoyed are The Shack, Same Kind of Different as Me, God on a Harley, and Quiet Strength.

We want to share an amazing, fun event that we had recently. There are 3 ladies who have written several books (each) from Georgia. Two are from this area (Cordele) and one is a retired missionary from Rome, GA.
They were invited down for an AUTHOR'S TEA sponsored by the Church Library. We used silver services (which we borrowed from church
members), crystal and served the plates. The Tea and water (with lemon
and mint, of course) were poured from the table. Each server was dressed in
black trousers, white shirts and black bow-ties.
We invited the ladies from each church in the Houston Association and had
printed copies of promotion showing a picture and short bio. info for each
author.
A pianist played soft music during the entire event.
Each author was introduced by a library staff member; they said a few
words, then went to their table to sell and autograph each book.
We had about 80 ladies there and around $500 worth of books were sold.
This was quite a success!!!
