  • Happy birthday

  • Congratulations! What an accomplishment! May this be the beginning of another great year for you.

  • Happiest of Birthdays, Maxine!!! What a blessing you are to everyone.

  • Hi, my friend! I left you a birthday message earlier today without realizing this birthday was 100! What a gift to reach that age and still be enjoying all you do. I hope you had fresh coconut cake with pineapple filling—or was it lemon? Do you remember that salad and dessert meal you and I had in a Dallas hotel and sat at the table and talked for almost three hours. I think we sampled all the cakes but that one was our favorite. And drank coffee the entire time. It is still one of my favorite memories of our travels together. You are one of God’s gifts to librarians and to the thousands who have listened to your stories. You have certainly been a gift to me. Love you lots!

(Not sure if this is posted twice. If so, I apologize.)

  • Happy, Happy Birthday, dear Mackie! I hope that you have a fantastic day and many more to come!

So many memories! One in particular is sitting at the Nibble Nook (with ice cream, of course!) at Ridgecrest and listening to story after story from your  memory stash! Stories of growing up and places you had been and things you have done.

Thank you for all those sweet memories and your stories.

    With much love, Sandra Fitts

  • Happy Birthday!
