Easy Bulletin Boards

We have a 2'x3' bulletin board outside our library door that I use for promoting our monthly themes. Instead of having to wrestle with rolls of background paper and a stapler, I put my display together on my scrapbooking table and then hang it. I use colored poster board for my background. It is the perfect width and leaves 6" of space at the top where I have posted our library hours and checkout periods. Poster board is easier to work with, and stores easily to be reused. I add my border, then decorate with cutouts and lettering. I attach everything to the poster board with scrapbooking adhesive. When it's finished, I hang it with four push pins, and it's done in a snap! I have made a year's worth of these already!

  • Great Idea. I have used rolls of wrapping paper to cover my bullentin boards. I have also used tissue paper squares to make a rainbow background. It was very pretty.
