I was encouraged to post a book I wrote last year on this page. It's not necessarily for your church library, but it may be a book you'd like to have on hand. In the 30 years I've been counseling, I have talked about the importance of tears, using movies as a catalyst. This book contains 150 movies listed in alphabetical order and categorized in 10 chapters that my clients have recommended to me over the years. Each movie contains a description, rating, and the year it was released. It also gives great information on the benefit of tears and why they are helpful to all humans. You can find it on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

The Book of Hours, by Davis Bunn

I'm new to this site, because I just began working in our church library. But I'm not new to reading great Christian books. I have never heard of Davis Bunn and this book written by him was recommended to me by a patron. I'm now on my 5th Davis Bunn book and plan to read all of them.  This is a small book and a quick read, but it packs a punch. It is a story about a man who is grieving the loss of his wife 2 years ago. He finds out that her favorite aunt in England left him her English Manor when she died. The aunt left him lots of riddles to solve and his storytelling ability grabs you from the start. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
