Our church has over 300 pre-schoolers and Mother's Day Out children enrolled in its weekly programs. A great percentage are non church members. Our Media Center schedules these classes twice weekly for story time. At the New Parents meeting each fall the teachers inform these parents of our reading program and the parents are invited to visit our library and meet us and see our facility.They are amazed to find such an outstanding, convenient media center for their use. We provide applications at that time for them to become users of our library. This has been a wonderful outreach to our community for many years. Parents and children enjoy their visits and many friends have been made through this endeavor. Many of these families are our most loyal members. This has been a great outreach for our church.

I have just completed the newly released book, Beguiled. I would highly recommend it. It is quite different from Gist's other books, in that it is a contemporary novel, with an added mystery. The book reflects a successful combination of each author's expertise, Gist's being the romance and Bertrand's being the mystery. An easy read book you will not want to put down.
