What I am reading

I have been alternating between Charles Martin books and Cathy Gohlke books. I am filling in the the ones I had not previously read and am going from oldest to newest.

Lately I have read -- When Crickets Cry (M), The Dead Don't Dance (M), Maggie (M), Where the River Ends (M), Band of Sisters (G), Thunder and Rain (M), Promise Me This G), Unwritten (M), Saving Amelie (G), A Life Intercepted (M).  I am currently reading Secrets She Kept (G).

        • We've worked up a list of World War II novels and biographies on the shelves in our Library for our Patrons.  Our readers love those by  Gohlke and Austin as well as similarly set books by Terrie  Todd (Silver Suitcase, Rose Among Thornes), Melanie Dobson (Catching The Wind,  Hidden Among The Stars) . We only have one of Tricia  Goyer's   WW2 era novels but the quality of her work calls for more.
