Louisiana Church Librarians

I attended the Blitz on the Bayou in Baton Rouge on Saturday. It was a most worthwhile day, spent with four library sessions led by Sue Bertholet. She discussed and distributed helpful handouts on general information websites, copyright info, coordinating resources, and coordinating Sunday School. We discussed planning seasonal promotions. It was all informative, but personally, I gained the most information on the copyright topic. I was not aware of the laws, etc. and the need to set up church guidelines for copyright laws. I would encourage you to attend next year if you have the opportunity. Also, the MS Church Library Conference will be held in Natchez,MS Oct. 1. I would encourage you to attend if possible.
