Central Alabama Library Conference
This conference will include many aspects of Library work including Administration, Promotion, Collection Development, Disciple Making, Space/furnish…
Even though I don't live in Fla. I do live near thaere and am willing to travel to fla. I live in Central Al., so it is not too far. When we have workshops/Conferences we invite Librarians from surrounding states to attend. The next scheduled conference in Al. is the North Al. Conference the 1st weekend in NOV.
Thank you for clarifying that for us! :)
Let me see what I can find out for you.
I would like to get in touch with the young man that was at the Spring Conf at Myrtle Lake and just starting a library as I had 2 doz or so books dropped off at my library and they are all duplicates
Tanks
I assume by active you mean open at least on Sunday with people who come get books & movies regularly and maybe story time or other activities at other times then yes there are several
Are you looking to open or close one
Is anyone in Florida still active in Church Library ministry?
We just had our Back-to-School Day for our homeschoolers. God blessed us with 76 people! We had to set up the event in the sanctuary and fellowship hall as well as the library to accomodate them all! I am looking forward to sharing with the group in Plant City in Sept.! We had 24 that were unchurched so the fields are white and ready for harvest! That is why the library is a ministry! What an opportunity God has given us!!!
I plan on attending the Sept. 17th meeting (Lord willing) and will bring 2-3 of my workers with me. We look forward to sharing time. Do I need to bring any "tools" such as Dewey etc.?
