  • We just had a lovely visit and time of fellowship at The Master's Seminary. We had a lovely brunch and tour of the library facility, which is one of the most extensive seminary libraries in the U.S., if not the world.

  • We had a wonderful meeting! First, our hostess Val Wray, librarian at EV Free Fullerton, spread out a wonderful brunch with quiches, fruit, juice, etc.  Next, a representative from Power Bible (Green Egg Media) showed us the 10 volumes of this new cartoon-style Bible story series that has had amazing popularity in Korea, and our hostess, Val, says she cannot keep on the shelves. She has 2 sets and may buy more.

Next, Susan Titus Osborn, a long-time Christian author, editor, and Christian speakers' bureau head, spoke on being a judge for the Christy Award: how books are nominated, how the evaluation process works, resulting in winners chosen. She shared about the history of several awards and also current happenings in the industry. We enjoyed hearing about this process.
