We at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, VA are significantly downsizing our library and are offering much of our current collection and all of our unprocessed books (100s of each) to our fellow church librarians. We will only be keeping the following:
• Non-fiction 210-239
• Select marriage and parent resources
• Children/young adult non-fiction and fiction
• DVDs and CDs

Anything not in the above categories is available, including all of the Christian Living (240's) and adult fiction as well as all VCR and cassettes. We currently have 6,000 items plus hundreds of books waiting to be processed, so it would be worth your time to make the trip and check out what is available. We are not charging anything for the items, but would be glad to take any donations for the materials.

We will be holding the librarian browsing time May 11th from 9 am -12 pm at 2932 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22312. You can contact me, Karen Jones, librarian, at if you have any questions or would like to "reserve" certain items.
