Baptist General Convention of Texas Church Library Conference

The BGCT provides an annual conference (usually in March) for church librarians and their staff. This conference provides opportunities for fellowship and training sessions, while encouraging networking among church librarians. Each year the conference offers an average of 35 classes, many of which offer certification opportunities. The schedule provides such courses as training in library technology and software, methods of library science (cataloging, repair, publicity, etc.) and copyright, confidentiality and communication.
