Greetings!

Videos: Transitions--What’s Next for the Church?

Last Monday we started the opportunity to view recorded webinars that took place on March 25 with the Baptist Association of Christian Educators (BACE). Today, we focus on another session of that webinar. Those of you who are not Baptists need to know that the BACE group includes many denominations, not just Baptists. And these speakers are speaking to Baptists and all denominations and synagogues.

Today’s focus is on Carey Nieuwhof, founding pastor of Connexus Church and The Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast. His session is titled Responding to Transitions: Cultural Shifts Taking Place in the Church and Community. Many of our pastors and church staff ministers follow his blog. His webinar includes 5 trends that may be opportunities for church and synagogue libraries.

If you got the password and link to last week’s video, use that one for this session. His session link is right after Kimberlin’s on the sesson list. If you did not get it last week, email Morlee Maynard (churchlibrariansnetwork@gmail.com) to request the links and information to view this video. After watching the video, please share your list of implications for our churches’ and synagogues’ library ministries here.  Watch for discussion questions this week.
