Blessings and hello.
This past month I've been thinking a lot about Death. The subject came up, not just because of the popular movie, Bucket List, which I've never seen, Or the books, 10 fun things to do before you dieUnforgettable things to do before you die, or 100 things Buckeyes Fans should know and do before they die, but because my brother was suffering with ALS.

It also came up because I was reading about our fear of Death in a book, or magazine, the title of which I've forgotten. I’ve had to deal with this topic before; first and foremost, my first wife dying at 32, leaving me with a newborn daughter and an 18-month son. Secondly, my aunt passing, with whom I had been sharing living space after my divorce. Shortly thereafter, my dad died, and then my cousin who had helped me a good deal, committed suicide. Thereafter my son’s wife died at 28. Then it was my mother's turn, then my last aunt, leaving my brother, sister, and myself the only ones at the top of the list of the Jackson clan; all this in the space of about 6 years. Both brother and sister have died since this was written.
