I was going to write a really neat essay on something or other, but forgot what it was.
A recent bit of humor, sent to me about the 83-year-old woman who talked herself out of a speeding ticket because, she told the officer, she needed to get there before she forgot where she was going. The story reminded me that sometimes we forget why we do some things we do; like going to the kitchen for something when we just came from there, or on the way in the car somewhere, and have to really think hard, where am I and in which direction I’m going.
