From Christy Hansen:

I am interested in adding a small handfull of titles to our library's collection some books, for both children and adults, on either Annie Armstrong and/or modern North American missionary work in the 20th and 21st centuries.  Our church is highlighting North American Missions and their work in April so I want to tie in to that.  Might our members have any suggestions for us to add to our collection?

Thanks!

Christy Hansen

  • I received these 2 books last week. They are beautiful replacements for our Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon collection.

  • You may have already searched the Womans Missionary Union web store. I found the following book about Annie Armstrong. They also have a similar book about Lottie Moon and several historical books about specific missionaries. I'm ordering these to replace the older versions we have on our shelves. We'll need to dig for books about 20th and 21st century.

Annie Armstrong comes to life as worked to grow a grassroots missions organization that thrives today.
    • Thank you for your help, I will most likely start with the book from the WMU on Annie Armstrong.
