  • Central Alabama would like to invite you to attend the Central Alabama Library Conference on Saturday March 4th. at Shoal Creek Baptist church in Deatsville, Al. Why not make plans to take a Road Trip to Wetumpka, Al where Ben and Erin filmed Home Town Take over and attend the conference that is about 12 miles away from Wetumpka, The Hampton Inn located In Wetumpka is offering a reduced rate if you are attending this event.
  • Who is in charge of this group, can you contact me?

    Do you have meetings?

Are there any Church Library Conferences, like there used to be several years ago?  Some of our folks attened a large on in Dallas several years ago and we went to a more regional one in Salina a year or so after that.  Have not heard of any since then, but would love to attend one. Thanks

  • Hello. Thank you for letting me join your Kansas group. I am starting (restarting) a church library in Winfield. We have no budget this year. I'm looking for other church librarians from Kansas as I have a lot of ideas and questions. For now, I mainly have questions. Thanks again.

  • OK, Friends! The book, Under the Gooseberry Bush, by Maxine J. Bersch (pen name) is now available at createspace.com   Also signed copies order from me via email ayarnspinner@gmail.com  I am now 95 come Jan. and this 557 pages just scratches the surface with the 105 stories I have told.

Happy Holidays just ahead!  Maxine Bersch-Lovern

  • I am joining all of the state groups so I can get to know you personally.  I met so many wonderful people at the Ridgecrest conference, and it is just great to converse with people and share in this network.  Thank you for allowing me to join, and please watch for my new book which will be coming out in the fall!  I am doing my memoirs at 92 years of age! I am hoping it will be ready to edit by Labor Day and after that it will not be long!  My book, Storytelling in a Nutshell, LifeWayk, 1998 is now in its 4th printing and going strong!  I will be returning to my home in Garland, TX after the 4th of July!  Luv to each, Maxine Bersch-Lovern (Mackie)
  • Thank You Very Much - That is good to know! We do meet in Wichita about every other month (not always, but frequently) and have people from the surrounding area join us. Thanks for your information - Dale
  • I will be glad to help you any time i can. I am an Associational Library Director and Director in my church. I have served as a Vice-pres. for the State of AL. where I live. I have lead conferences in Okla. and in some associations in AL. I have family in Okla. ; Kansas; Arkansas; so I am in and out of these places a good bit. Will be glad to help you.
