Our library accepts donations and most are duplicates of books we already have or outdated books. We collect the donations and have a book-sale every other year which has helped with our library budget. We are considering having a few shelves in the library for a “bookstore” clearly marked “book for sale” with a donation box. Has anyone done this before? It’s purpose is to get rid of lots of donated books we have in storage and hopefully the donations will help with library purchases. Any thoughts?
