Hi! I have been an elementary school librarian and have served as our church librarian in past years., but not recently. The library at our church has been stagnant for several years and I want to bring it back to life! My biggest concern right now is finding a program to partially automate the library! We have an old fashioned card catalog that is very out of date and not used! I want to be able to scan the entire collection into a program so we can easily access what books we have. What programs have been successful for you? We will not use it for check-out initially. Also what do you use to facilitate this, laptop, ipad, tablet? Thanks for any input!!!
