Churches Affected by Hurricane Helene

Hello Everyone,

Many of us know someone who was affected by Hurricane Helene. Though we live in the Chicago area, we have relatives along the NC coast, so we keep track of storms moving through that area. I know it has been a couple of weeks, now, but this Facebook post came from author Colleen Coble on September 29, in the late afternoon:

From Colleen Coble:  I've been watching the reports coming out of Black Mountain where my friend Pepper Basham lives and it's just horrific. She finally got some water (they'd been taking creek water and boiling it) but it's not been possible to even get out of town.
She has a new book releasing with no internet access to help promote it so those of us who love her are helping out. I LOVE her books and you will too! This one is a historical but if you like contemporary romance check out her other books like Loyally Luke.

If you have not yet read Pepper Basham, she has Applachian Historical Fiction, Contemporary Romance, Historical Fiction, all very well-written.

Other groups I am affiliated with such as needlepoint groups, quilting groups, etc., have been rallying support for members. Does anyone know of churches who are cleaning up, rebuilding, gathering materials to reopen their libraries? Or Christian schools in the area in need of books to replace lost inventory? Or maybe it is too soon for such things yet.

Thanks for any information.
