USED BIBLE STUDIES FROM LIFEWAY

Does anybody have a place to send or give used Bible Studies once they are past the date?  I have searched for a good place to recycle these with the important info they hold without much luck at all.  If you do, please let me know.  I have collected many each quarter.  Darlene Earnhardt

  • We're in Atlanta, and a great gentleman by the name of Ben Cook picks up our materials for Edwin Hodges Ministries.

Let me know if you need his contact information.

    • Where is Edwin Hodges Ministries located at? Thanks for replying. Darlene Earnhardt
      • Decatur, Alabama. . . check out the website at http://elhm.org/
It is a great ministry. They not only need Christian literature, but also take good books to start libraries in various areas, funds for shipping expenses, volunteers to work for a day or longer and your prayers.
  • Your own prison ministry will love having these wonderful resources. They may want to use them on their visits, and then make a gift of them to the prison library. Your state office can direct you to the prison chaplain's email, or telephone, or your own church office may have the information regarding prison ministry. Mackie
  • I dont know where you live but Love Packages in Illinois takes things and ships them to missionaries in the states and in other countries. They especially need bibles in other languages.
    • Thank you Laurie. I may have some things for them in the future. I assume they are a ministry with an internet webpage. I will look them up. I have sent some things to the ministry in SC already but I appreciate your reply. Thanks. Darlene Earnhardt
  • Thanks a lot Sandra. I have been looking for these details for a long time. I really appreciate it. Thanks again, Darlene Earnhardt

  • Check with Pam Langston at Seneca Baptist Church, Seneca, SC. (They have a website, I believe) At the SC conference on March 13, some of the conferees mentioned a ministry in either NC or SC which collects Christian literature for distribution overseas and in the US. There is Edwin L. Hodges Ministries in Decatur, AL, but the Carolina location would be more convenient for you.
