  • Thank you for sharing this. I came here to see what the latest seems to be on "quarantining" library items. I agree that "stacking" seems to be books that are touching each other.

    One concern I have is the safety of Lysol and other products on the books themselves. I understand that the simple act of wiping cuts out a lot of bacteria & virus. But my search is for the best product to wipe books without damaging the book (or other library items).
  • What do they mean by "stacked"? Books laid on top of each other? How about books side by side?
    • That is what I am thinking too. Side by side or laid on top of each other. So when we put books in quarantine, we need to separate them and stand them up. Anyone see this another way?
      • Do you think wiping the books off with a Lysol disinfecting wipe which kills 99.9% of viruses & bacteria take care of the problem?
