Radical Cataloging

I am trying a new idea of mine-- to catalog Biblical fiction with the book of the Bible it fictionalizes.  I clearly label the fiction with a sticker that says "Biblically Based Fiction" covered with an orange label cover.  I know nothing is new under the sun-- has anybody out there tried this?

  • Definitely radical!  I have made displays on topics or themes  where the fiction and nonfiction were displayed together.

  • I have created a Heaven section. It includes biographies of people who had heaven and back experiences. Also includes devotional and study books about heaven. I have several interesting fiction books about heaven and a couple of movies made from the books. It makes an interesting collection.  I have also tried to create a Grief section and a Cancer section. Neither of them are as well developed as the Heaven section. It will come. It does confuse the labeling and record keeping.
