quick budget question

Hello All,

 

I’m curious. How many of your libraries have suffered budget cuts since 2009?  I’m just wondering faith-based libraries are experiencing financial pressures similar to other libraries as  a result of the economic downturn.

 

I've posted this question on other church library lists, so if you are kind enough to answer, please only do so once.

    Ellen,

     

    We are blessed to say that we have not.  We have just had our library redecorated and updated in look and we are so pleased.  We have been enrolling more people each week and have checked out over 7000 items since January.  I could not be more pleased with the interest and participation.  I pray that we are able to maintain our budget level and not have to deal with cuts as media continues to rise in price as well as other daily functions of a library.
