Is anyone else having trouble locating MARC records for books with ISBNs that begin with the newly utilized 979 prefix?

THE CHANGE TO 979 DOES HAVE SOFTWARE ISSUES at the retailers; and particularly AMAZON.COM. some have not updated their software, nor is amazon using ISBNs, so the searching can't easily be done.

I've also often searched for a book in hand, on the Library of Congress Database by ISBNs, The Library of Congress NUMBER, and publisher or author, and series, when no numbers are found. That works pretty well sometimes.
