Does anyone else here put out a library newsletter? What kinds of things do you put in it? We started one last October, which has grown in scope quite a bit and I'm interested to know what others are putting in theirs.
You need to be a member of Church Librarians Network to add comments!

Debbie,
I echo the sentiments shared by many others in regards to your newsletters...wow! What do you use to create them? Our church library has produced one for several years but it's only been done in b&w and only as printed copies, and I intend to create it online & share it by email as much as possible so I welcome the chance to learn from your expertise!
Thanks in advance for any & all help you can provide!

Let me know if you have any additional questions. Debbie and I brainstorm the articles, and then I work to fit them into an appealing layout. It is a little time-consuming, but we both enjoy putting it together.
My co-librarian (actually Head Librarian at our church) is the one who makes it look so beautiful. She creates it in Pages (we both use Apple computers), using one of their templates, I believe (though it may have been an additional purchase one, I'm not sure). She spends a lot of time searching for clip-art to make it look beautiful and I always think she does a FABULOUS job!
I enjoyed reading your newsletters and please add me to your list - pam.gardner@twc.com
Your newsletters are outstanding! Please add my email to your list: library@IBCTemple.org.
thanks for your kind comment! I've added you!
You are welcome to email Debbie to be added to their email list: hijisheer@gmail.com.
Debbie Dehart just gave me permission to share the following links to their recent newsletters. The first one here includes her article about Christian fiction which is amazing!
Enjoy!
Debbie, how do you distribute your newsletter?
The church office sends it to our church's email list, and I keep a list of people who are not from our church, and forward it to them.
