Does anyone else here put out a library newsletter? What kinds of things do you put in it? We started one last October, which has grown in scope quite a bit and I'm interested to know what others are putting in theirs.
You need to be a member of Church Librarians Network to add comments!

Debbie, please send me copies of your recent Library Newsletters to library3@fbckosciusko.com. I am looking at starting one. Thanks
It was fun to revisit this conversation! Here we are, five years later, and our newsletter has been going strong, 12 issues each year, ever since! We have enjoyed writing articles and book reviews, as well as getting some of our church people involved in doing some reviews, and have found the newsletter a fun and interesting way to communicate what is going on in the library, as well as what we as librarians are thinking and talking about, and learning. In a recent edition we had an article about "The Changing Face of Christian Fiction", which, I think, got some people thinking too!
We just emailed our second monthly Enrichment Center Newsletter. We are doing it with our FHBC Communications Team which means our newsletter uses an email list that is "tagged" on the church's MailChimp account. I gave them a list of people who used the Enrichment Center during the last year. For our July edition 45.3% of the 106 people who received it, opened the email. Very pleased with that since any first time email like this will have a high number go to spam folders.

Yes, the newsletter takes a lot of time, but we are showing an increase in activity through the Enrichment Center.
I would appreciate a copy of your library newsletter and any others who would like to share. New ideas from other areas are helpful and help the creative process. wkeathly@Verizon.net Thanks so much!
Will add you! Some time in the next month we are going to create a mailing list for our newsletter and I will do my best to get all who have asked on it.
May I please get copies of the available newsletters, also? My email address is library@southcrest.org.
We have done a bi-monthly newsletter for 10 years, but only have it in hard copy form, not online
Oh, Please send me one. too! msreadalot@comcast.net Thanks!!
Hi Amy, I just came across this conversation and am checking this list with my contacts. I see that somehow your email did not make it to my list. We are still producing a monthly newsletter; would you like me to add you to the list? I will also send you a couple of recent issues.
