We have several CD sets that are teaching CD's and not music. They do not belong to kits. (Ex: "Choose Joy" by Kay Warren, "Men's Fraternity" by Robert Lewis.) How should they be classified? Thanks for any help

I totally understand and am comfortable using the Dewey system. My question is should it be classified as 'AC'? Thanks
Compact discs use the format indicator "CD" as the first line of the call number with the second line being the Dewey classification number, so that will be how your CDs are designated and will be shelved with the other compact discs.
I looked up the items you mentioned and wonder if they might be designated as Books on CD? Books on CD use the format indicator of BCD as the first line to indicate that they are audio books and would be shelved separately from the other CD section. (You could use "AB" to indicate audio book, but whatever you use, be consistent.) Again, the second line will be the Dewey classification number.
Adding another question -- do you have the Viewer's guide" or a study guide to go with them? If so, my suggestion would be to combine the two items to make a kit and then designate them with a "K" -- Decisions, decisions! :-)

We're at the same stage in deciding how to categorize CDs. I've been going back & forth on certain decisions. At this point, I plan to use Dewey Decimal System with teaching type CDs - just as I do with books. Is that what you're asking?
