One of the 2 gals that used our self-checkout on Good Friday, dropped by the Enrichment Center yesterday. We had a delightful conversation as she shared her situation and her reading needs. I showed her the location of books that fit her needs. She checked out 2. Turns out she is a school librarian. I am amazed that her public school allows her to have Bible story books on the shelves for the children. She is amazed how many check them out. We have a new user and a new friend!
One surprise for me was finding 2 self-checkout slips filled out on Good Friday. We had a Good Friday service at 6:00 PM in our Elevate service. Both do not have an account with the Enrichment Center nor members of our church. So Sunday morning I emailed them asking for their new account information. Surprisingly, both responded immediately. I am excited about setting up accounts for them and I will be emailing our church staff about them today. God is faithful!
