Our new vinyl door sign:
LIBRARY. All we need in my opinion. I know there is this trend of Resource Center or Multi-media but just not necessary. Nobody is going to think, "oh, it's just books."
You are completely correct about members of our churches who use the libraries. But the change to use other titles has a reason. Young pastors are closing libraries because they only see a room of books that are not being used much. The change is to use a title that fits the mission and vision of the church which is also a big deal to young pastors. They are being taught that any ministry that does not align to the mission and vision of the church needs to be removed. The stories I am hearing breaks my heart.
