I have a new book American Gothic Church : Changing the Way People See the Church.  Its message is about how the unchurched view religion or organized churches.  I cannot find DDN for it anywhere.  I have done some research and I thought possibly 261...I am grateful for any help or ideas.

  • I would suggest looking at your collection in Dewey 277.3 or 277.3083 to see if you have other books there with which this one would fit.  277.3083 is the Dewey number assigned to the following books:

Un-Christian: What a New Generation Really Thinks, by David Kinnaman (Baker Books, 2007)

Almost Christian: What the Faith of Our Teenagers Is Telling The American Church, by Kendra Creasy Dean (Oxford University Press, 2010)

Choosing Church: What Makes a Difference for Teens, by Carol E. Lytch (Westminster John Knox Press, 2004)

From Nomads to Pilgrims: Stories from Practicing Congregations, by Diana Butler Bass (Alban Books/Rowman & Littlefield, 2006)

    • Thanks, Pat.  I am so unskilled with classification.  I am very grateful for the information and I don't have any of those titles, but I always like new places to look.
