Apparently Yoto cards are the media format that our parents want for their children currently as they seek to maintain low-screentime households. I'm looking for the best way to store individual cards for circulation- it seems that the default is to put them in binders, but I hesitate to do that because I foresee small children pulling them all out and scattering them like playing cards, and they're too expensive to lose so easily! Also, it makes it far too simple for a card to get lost before the borrower even gets it home. Does anything exist, like a DVD case or similar, that I could use instead? Or does anyone have other suggestions?

We've been circulating Yoto cards for awhile and this system works for us. We attach hanging tabs to each card, then when the cards are checked out, we connect them with a wire key chain. This keeps the Yoto cards together and keeps the patrons from mixing them with their own cards.

Karen, I wanted to follow up and let you know that you more or less resolved my question. I found an Word online template for DVD cases that I used in conjunction with images from the product websites to design individual cases to keep the cards from getting lost, and then similar hanging tabs to make the cards stand out from a personal collection. Thank you so much for your creative idea!
Melanie, I'm so glad this idea was helpful. Actually, I borrowed it from someone else, so I'm just passing it along! We display our cards in acrylic business card holders that are wall mounted. We're learning as we go, so I would also be interested in hearing from others who are offering Yoto cards.
Thanks for asking the question! I'd never heard of this new product. I don't know the dimensions but -- would one fit inside a plastic bar soap container? Have it circulate inside a clear, plastic soap box.
They're roughly the size of credit cards, so yes, that would be an option. I'll check out the dollar store and see how practical an option that is!
Have you done a Google search? There are some possible suggestions .
I have, but most are to store multiple Yoto cards together, not to store single Yoto cards to circulate individually.
