Church Media Library Desk Book

This book was mentioned in the Church Library section of the Lifeway website. What is this book and where can it be obtained? I am considering becoming the director of our Media Center and am looking for information on the day-to-day operation of a church library.Margaret Powell

    The Church Library Ministry Information Service is the title of the resource you saw on the web site. Chances are your local LifeWay store will not have a copy in stock. You can order it online through the website or call your local LifeWay store and ask them to order it. Chances are you will get free shipping if you have your local store order it for you.

    This is an excellent and most needed resource. You can get it at the LifeWay Christian Stores. If they don't have one in, they can order it for you. I placed mine in a three-ring binder and have added materials on the different subjects as I obtained them. It becomes like a right arm for you. Should you be out of commission, any of your trained staff can pick it up and carry on. Isn't that a great relief to know? I really get lots of information at library conferences throughout the year and add those to help along the way.
