Church Library Month

Hi Everyone!

Church Library Month begins October 1st. What ideas/activities are you creating in order to promote participation and interest in the church library? This is my first year as church librarian, so I would really like to know what works to draw people in during Church Library Month...and beyond.

    I usually host an open house for Church Library Month with crafts for the kids.  This year we plan to do a second kick-off of the Bible Buddy program, where our younger children are encouraged to read to stuffed animals and complete a challenge.  I'm trying to find some good clipart for advertising church library month on our church event calendar.
